Our Club
Tucked away in the scenic north-east region of Melbourne, just 18 km from the CBD, North Eastern Horse & Pony Club is a true hidden gem. Our club is built on the warmth and generosity of our community, where members come together to create a thriving environment. Here, we celebrate the unique bond between young riders and their horses, as well as the strong connections that form among these riders, their families, and the broader community.

Founded in 1951, our club has a proud history of fostering a love for equestrian sports. In 1986, we expanded our reach by introducing the Riders Without Horses program, opening the door for children to explore the world of horsemanship. While the club has evolved over the years, our mission remains the same: to give children and young adults with limited access to equestrian activities the chance to build confidence, responsibility, and empathy through their interactions with horses.

Our extensive grounds include three arenas, all fully lit for evening events, and a challenging cross-country track for those seeking adventure. Our facilities also feature a full kitchen, enabling us to host regular gatherings that strengthen our sense of community.

At North Eastern Horse & Pony Club, we are committed to making equestrian activities accessible to everyone. Through our Riders Without Horses program, we provide riding lessons and opportunities to participate in Pony Club Victoria activities, ensuring that even those without a horse can experience the joy and benefits of equestrian sports. Inclusivity is at the core of our values, and we strive to make our club a welcoming place for all.
